Certain missionary institutes ventured into these regions from time to time trying to enable the communities living deep in the jungles to access a normal life of faith, reflection and future.

The wayside chapel was designed for Don Bosco Parish with an intent to have a small space that the communities of the region could use as a daily space for peace, quiet and solace helping them see beyond the fear of immediate environment of the jungle allowing of opening of doorways to a larger world with better facilities
