An extremely challenging project with a site level difference of 10ft from front to rear. Rear being lower as the site lies in a hilly terrain region in Mahalakshmi layout. The site also has a sand filling of 40’ from nearly half a century ago and 2 coconut trees on either front corner of property deflecting majorly in different directions much into the property boundary.

Different kinds of footings were designed to stabilize the structure. The trees were retained and the house was built around it. A stilt floor has been designed for parking and the house is a duplex with an additional floor for rental income
