The project was a competition design project exclusively on invitation extended to 4 firms pan India.

The building was conceptualized into 2 blocks with multiple floors connected by a central courtyard. The building was to be part of the old SBI headquarters designed in locally available stone and thus the new structure had to blend in, rather than stand out.
